chain and sproket 78 750f
« on: May 11, 2010, 02:15:00 PM »
I have absolutely no understanding on ratios and the amount of teeth on a sprocket.

I need someone (anybody?) to give me a chain size to get and the sprockets to get with it.

I have no idea of what to purchase and could desperately need your help.

Please let me know what I should do.

Thanks again for your help!!

Thank you for the stock specs of the bike.  I was hoping to find stock replacements because I thought that it would be the easiest swap.  The stock chain has 88 links???

This might help. That 630 chain is expensive. this can be done for  around $100 .

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

I used a 16/45 with I think 88 links but would use either 16/44 or 16/46 because the chain didn't fit the way it should. I had to either use a half link or jam the wheel all the way forward and still not be able to get the chain off without removing the master link.

I run about 5000 rpm at 80. It's a little high but pretty peppy in town.
