adjustment shocks
« on: May 15, 2010, 09:11:29 AM »
I hate to admit it, but  I will,  I do not know how to adjust moto shocks and can't find any FAQ.  I have rebuilt engines,  & just spank em and had no issues with the suspension, so no need to adjust anything.    I have 11" shortys and Koni, pulled off and the suckers won't budge.

I'm a little lost.  Are these shorty Konis?  If so, then what won't budge when you take them off?  Will the piston not move into the shock body?  Does the damper adjustment wheel not move freely?  Please clarify and I'm sure we'll be able to help.

The pistons moves while riding, one bike has shortys,  one has Koni shocks.    I twist and turn, push and pull but cannot adjust them.  Do I need some shock wrench or use a vise?
