Which intake manifolds to use?

I have a 76 CB750k engine with 77 CB750k carbs, does it matter which intake manifolds to use? 76 & 77 have different part numbers listed. I will be using pod filters instead of the stock airbox.

The rubber carb insulators for the 76K are about a 1/2 inch longer then the ones for the 77/78K if that helps.

Thanks for the info, I'll go with the 77/78 ones to keep the intake tract short.
