Now this one is unusual enough to find it's self in Hush's shed.
Never seen a CB750 Custom before!

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

...I've seen a couple... the dohc 750s were past 80 or 82, right? We get pple here all the time with an '82 or '81 CB750 and say "Hey... that's not an sohc4!"

but I dunno where they were popular.

They may not be all that popular here in HD town.. Could be why I have not seen them before.

Damn pretty bike, I hold nothing against it being a DOHC as I am not a motorcycle snob....except them bludy loud slow Harleys. ;D
It has nice lines, I'm looking for something with more "poke" than my 650, something to keep up with my mates Kwaka Vulcans and VTX's.
This bike comes from way down the South Island of New Zealand and for some reason they maintain their bikes really really well, old machines that we up here in the North have abused seem to be coveted down South.

The DOHC Honda's were so fragile Hushy, they made SOHC F2's look good! Two cam chains, crappy adjusters, awful electrics, weak bottom ends, if not VERY well maintained they didn't last long. I had a blue CB900F Bol D'or, it was a nice one owner bike with a careful previous owner, but it still rattled and clanked, and the ignition black boxes would get so hot that the epoxy filler would melt and run down the inside of the frame. I sold it at a loss but was happy to see it go, I had a Suzuki GS1000 as well and the Suzy shat all over it, and is still going strong now, whereas I'm probably drinking beer out of what became of that horrible "Roller Door"! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Might explain the "rarity" of these bikes then Terry. :)
Wonder if the SOHC engine would fit into the DOHC frame?

'fragile' is a relative term. Their electrics were basically the same as ours in the 650s.  Hate to break it to ya.

Gorgeous bike, not sure if it's $22k gorgeous but it certainly has eye candy appeal.
It's just how I remember the early CB750's as a young fellah. (yes I know it's a 73 I just slipped on the keyboard)
