It's a stone cold beautiful bike! But....had an old friend tell me about someone he knew that had a spike point on the top of his sissy bar, probably a little taller than yours, as it happened, came up to just below the back of his girlfriends head. He hit some railroad tracks kinda hard one day and spiked her in the skull. She didn't survive it. Just sayin...

I imagine wearing a helmet would have fixed that.......Just saying....

maybe, but it's pretty easy to slip my fingers up inside the back of my tight fitting full face helmet.... $:-\$ not a risk I'd wanna take with my girlfriend, even a spearpoint in the spine would be painful....

Has anything been done to the motor or are you leaving it stock ?
They only kick out about 33bhp at the rear wheel, would be intresting what it makes with the blower.

"The microsquirt is completly controlling the fuel injection in this video. The ignition is Power/Arc firing 4 coil-on-plugs in a wasted spark format. This engine has a small 500 cc/ revolution rootes type supercharger. External Densco alternator. I have the same GSXR 600 throttle bodies as you.......but, I had to add an extra 5th. throttle body to the inlet to the supercharger!!!! As you can hear and see the boost from the positive displacement blower pinned the 15 psi gauge at only 4000 rpm, before the engine ran out of gas...lol. The engine was impossible to tune! There was just too much boost and it bent my throttle plates during some high RPM tuning and the engine ran away on me. I removed all the throttle plates and blocked off the shaft openings..so all my GSXR 600 throttle bodies do now is hold the injectors. I built a special intake runner to replace the supercharger inlet filter and put another throttle body on without the injector. I'm just in the process of re-tuning the ECM. I'll post a video on the new Honda CB750 with the "5" throttle bodies later.........
Just a note....A couple of times, I disabled the supercharger boost, and the engine was so sweet to start and ran very, very clean......still snappy throttle responce.....idled as smooth as an old Buick......I almost wished I hadn't put the supercharger on!!!"

There's a lot of beautiful work on this bike. The CX500 covers on the electronics box is probably my fave.

I would take the sissy bar spike warnings to heart, though.

I am really looking forward to more updates on this amazing machine!

I was going to say if you're worried about BAT's you could always spray Meth on a WOT trigger or Nitrous to help cool the charge. I imagine with EFI you probably could do a wet shot or something in a certain rpm range depending on your tuning functionality. Or hey just convert the whole system to Alcohol :O). Very cool build.

Firstly....I have to give credit to 750essess for the inspiration regarding putting electronic fuel injection on these old 750 Honda's.
Here is my build from Hondachopper:

I had to change my entire consept regarding the supercharger......I had a small filter at the inlet side of the supercharger. The outlet of the supercharger went into a plenum and then into the four Suzuki GSX R600 throttle bodies. This set-up would work great in a turbocharger or centrifical type of supercharger.....but not with a rootes type of positive displacement supercharger. There was way too much pressure against my throttle plates and it bent all four of them and of course the engine ran away on me.
I removed the inlet filter on the supercharger and built an intake plenum out of fiberglass to which I have attached a single throttle body (less the injector) to control my air intake, The four original throttle bodies are still being used, but they only hold the fuel rail, injectors etc. The butterfly plates have been removed and the shaft openings are sealed.

Here's some finished intake plenum and the fifth throttle body....The filter is on backorder.

I need to reprogram the entire Microsquirt after this change.....I just seem to not have any spare time lately!!!

Note: I've got an old Dunlop mounted...ready to "Melt it down!!!"...lol

Impressive fiberglass skills, did you lay that up over a foam core? Maybe consider a blower bypass valve controlled by the microsquirt. U could bypass the boost when idling and cruising.
