Mettalic noise from top end at high revs - cb750k2

Probably from around 5000rpm onwards- should I worry?
Oil is topped up, but quite a bit of smoke from my oil breather pipe at idle when the engine is hot, which I can see as it exits the pipe at the bottom - is this a related fault at all?
