Topic: Z1 black brake lines - SS?

Thinking I'm going to pick up some 26" brake hoses from Z1 and run double straight from the MC to calipers BUT... I have the fear.

Z1 lists these under SS hose but the black Goodridge series 103 says doodly about being SS while the 803 clear does.

Goodridge doesn't seem to list series 103 in their catalog and I have the bad luck of wanting to do this thing at 10pm on the Saturday before a national holiday.

Does anybody know if these are SS with a black coat?

yes they are stainless with a black plastic like coating. look on ebay, there was a guy on there building custom lines at a good price. those fitting will $10 you to death. don't get me wrong, i love Z1, i get all my jets from them, but its gonna cost you about $60 for a front line, fittings, and banjo.

Geez, you're not kidding - custom length, color, fittings for $20 and $12 shipping.
