81 750 carburetors

was wondering if a set of 81 cb750 carburetors would work on a 76 750k. would that be worth doing as an upgrade?

  • CB 750 K0 ( always thought it was a K1!) + CB750K8

With enough work most anything can be made work !..... but an 'upgrade'?.... a good , well working set of OEM carbs would be the best upgrade ........ IMO

thats what i have now. have a chance though to pick up an 81 set - was wondering if there's anything better about the later designs.
on a 65 triumph i had years ago i changed from the stock carburetors - think they were called monoblocks - to later norton "concentric" carburetors, and the bike ran better - didn't know then what the hell those labels meant, and don't know now.

Have fun tuning those CV Keihins. I would not pay dollar for them. They are known to be difficult to tune.
