The official data from the local weather station said the low yesterday was 56.8 and the high was 111.6.

What the smurf is up with a 55 degree swing in less than 12 hours??!?!

Ugh. My Polish/Finnish/German constitution can't cope.
Gimme mid 60's and light rain and my pale arse is happy.

No wonder you're Grumpy. Only hit about 91 here today, finally some relief.  Will go to 70 or so tonight.  We've had several weeks of 97-102 highs and 84 lows, but no 55 degree swings.

About the same here, was in the high 50's when I woke at 6:30am, but by 3pm was 104. The ride I took at 3:30 felt great!

in the 90s here today, but wouldnt ya know..since Doomtowns ride is Saturday and Vashon is Sunday, the temp will be dropping to the 60s, then goin back up for next week....

Rained all day here with temps around 60. Back up to the 80's tomorrow! I don't care too much on what the weather is as long as i'm not in the sun, I don't tan, I burn.

Spearfish South Dakota holds the world record for the fastest temperature change. On January 22, 1943 at about 7:30 a.m. MST, the temperature in Spearfish was -4° degrees F (-20°C). The chinook wind picked up speed rapidly, and two minutes later (7:32 a.m.) the temperature was +45°F above zero (+7°C). The 49-degree rise (27°C) in two minutes set a world record that still holds. By 9:00 a.m., the temperature had risen to 54°F (12°C). Suddenly, the chinook died down and the temperature tumbled back to -4°F (-20°C). The 58-degree drop (32°C) took only 27 minutes.

This is why South Dakota is considered the State of infinite variety...
