Topic: the wires in headlight bucket

Hey all,
well, every time my turn signals stop working (once or twice a month) I get out the screwdriver & take off the headlight. One (or more) wires have vibrated out of their bullet connectors; laying loose inside the shell. Getting a bit tired of this recurring prob. Is there any logical objection to cutting out the connectors and soldering the wires together and maybe putting wire nuts on the soldered joints?? I've tried taping everything in place but the bikes is 39 years old...1972 750K2

I have soldered wires in the headlight bucket myself and worked just fine onley thing is if you need to change handle  bars or blinkers you have to start cuttin and resolderin but another option is you can still get new conecions still allot of work. What ever you do will work fine the conectors I did reuse I pinched with a pair of pliers and they are holding fine.so far

I bought a nice box of OEM connectors from yamiya before I knew about the USA site. Some in my bucket were lose and I just used a pliers to crimp them a bit and they held better.
