after about 5 months of work off and on and lots of ignorant mistakes, she's running like a dream thanks in large part to the help of you guys here on this forum. i appreciate every suggestion or hint.... even the ones i didn't use. sometimes they help steer you in the direction you need to go just as much as the hints you do use.
anywho... my suggestion to anyone trying to use pods for a streetbike is give up now while you're sane.
1) clean the crap out of your carbs
2) buy new stock main jets if needed
3) set float heights
4) set point gap
5) set valve clearance
6) adjust cam chain tension
7) drink 3 beers
synch your carbs
