« on: September 07, 2010, 10:11:18 PM »
Just got this..
Looks like 78 750 K front cylinder, with brakelite switch... but taller pot on it. Is this 78 7 79 GL..??..or??

 Marked 11/16ths underneath..

Is it a see through pot or part of the black casting

All metal, painted..looks like all the 70's ones, cept it has brakelite switch built in..like 78 did, and the fluid pot is taller..

I have a 78 750 K MC, looks same but not as tall.
I have not noticed the brake lite switch on earlier ones, not sure if that is first year?

Also this was on a 77 f 750 brakeset. I do not actually know for sure what the 77/78 f's used for a MC.. it may be OEM... ???

Sounds similar to the original wing type

I looked at a few pics, and its starting to look like it may be the stock MC. If anyone has a 77/78 F can you check underneath, see if its marked 11/16.. & if it has brake switch wires..
 Thanks
