I rode the 750 to the airport to get some pictures for you guys, my old co-worker was there so I walked in to see him and got a plane ride!

Sweet! I'm going up in a B-24 in a couple of weeks. I wish I had more opportunity to fly in small planes. :'(

I went up in the B-17 Nine O Nine several years ago.  It was great and the take off roll is awesome when they throttle up those engines.  Take a video cam with if you can. :D

 Yes it is a blast. I forgot to mention it is the National Stearman Fly-In Galesburg Il. Man, there are a bunch of great planes there! the red one was a mail plane, note the shorter tail. It has the big engine and re-inforced landing gear. Also no front seat. There is one from Canada with a Russian engine and a 3 blade prop very unusual.
 A ride in a B24 would be outta site! I got a ground tour of a B17, it was something to remember.

I hate to admit it but after dinner I got a little air sick again. Not ralphing or anything, just queasy. We did a few maneuvers.

Lucky bugger! I'm still trying to get up in a Moth, but it's one of those experiences like running into jello, yes you make progress but no, you never get anywhere, no pain, just get sticky.

I left the bike behind the main hanger because not everyone gets into where the planes are parked without a pass. Stealth was required.

if you could see inside the hanger in my avitar we had a Boeing Stearman I use to have to tow it in and out and fuel it... tail dragger tow/push into a hanger with big$$$ jets is a real skill ...had about a foot between the door and that citation's nose when we pulled it in and out.
   We lost the plane and a good friend. I kinda miss ol JZI.
