So..if I have points in one bike, and electronics in the other, should I be using different oil in each?? ??? ???

when it really comes down to it, whether they were points or electronic, bikes or cars, the majority of my ignition problems were either battery or switch related....

I have seen 2 of the limey problems in your garage, what are the other 97?

a previous owner had solderer a connection in the fuse box on the main fuse it came loose i did not get to take my first ride. :'( :'( :'( and corroded connections it the coils

Mark you could try cleaning your pickup screen in the oil pan that may lower your temp a bit and you could add an oil cooler
