Question about a simple wiring diagram from honda chopper.com

im looking to run a simple setup on my chopper project and will be running no turn signals just a head and tail light. It appears that according to this diagram this is all il need. Any help will be greatly appreciated. heres a link to the website as i cant load the pic for some reason

Ok so i figured i would update this post so that anyone who chimes in is on the same page as me. my ignition (older honda one) cylinder has 3 positions off and then 2 dots next to the off spot. It has 4 wires coming out of it
1 solid black
1 solid brown
1 brown with white stripe
1 solid red

My motor has the typical sloid blue and solid yellow coming from the points, and on to the altenator side i have a single blue with red stripe wire, a negative (to ground to frame heavy duty) wire, and then the harness which has
1 light green with red stripe
1 blue with red stripe
1 solid green
3 soild yellow
1 white (looks off white due to years of heat fade)
1 empty slot

Sorry yes i did basically i understand that the link to the diagram i posted is for a kick only configuration and i would like to run a electric starter as well on days where im not up to several kicks. (granted i too agree that kicking a bike is 1oo times cooler than pushing a button)

So am i missing something with the diagram and the wires and what i am looking to do? Thanks

That diagram makes a few assumptions:
1 - you're using a car type ignition switch not the OEM one
2 - you're using a later DOHC type combined regulator/rectifier not the OEM separate regulator and rectifier
3 - battery power teleports to the ignition switch (no connection is shown, you should have a fused wire between battery + and the switch BAT connection)

The wires you care about in the engine connector are the 3 yellows, the green, and the white. The other two are the neutral switch and oil pressure switch.
3 yellows are the alternator 3 phase output, and go to your rectifier.
Green is ground to the alternator field coil.
White is power feed to the alternator field coil.

Minimum wiring would need a battery, regulator, and rectifier plus the on/off (or key) switch and a horn, headlight and tail light with brake light (and switch of course).
There's a good description for rewiring a bike using the "Santee" electrical box here: http://www.hondachopper.com/garage/santee_wiring_instructions/santee_wiring_instructions.pdf This includes the electric start but that's pretty easy to leave out. You have to plug the case hole properly if you remove the starter motor and you still need a battery (can be much smaller though). The Santee box was just an empty metal box you could buy made to fit the frame and drilled for components, you used your scavenged electrical stuff to stuff it and rewire the bike leaving minimum exposed wiring and electricals. The bikes I've seen with them had a generic automotive keyswitch with the usual off/acc/on/start positions and fired the electric start motor on "start".
The OEM keyswitch doesn't have any "ACC" terminal, just BAT and IGN and extra ones for the oddball tail light "parking light" stuff. If you use the OEM switch then IGN power goes to everything if you want to go extreme simplicity. Santee used the generic keyswitch because they were available at any auto parts store and, unlike the Honda one, mount easily in a round panel hole.

A fused wire from the battery (15A maybe) goes to the red wire. The black wire is you IGN power out to the bike's wiring. The other wires are for the parking light stuff, one of them will be connected to battery with the key in position three so make sure it is well insulated. There is no "ACC" wire.
Put the fuse as close to the battery as possible. The wire to it can pull full battery current if shorted to ground, and that can (and has) cause a fire immolating your ride.
The link I posted has all the wiring you need for what you want. It shows how to do it in a Santee box but regardless of where you put the components the wiring will be the same.
