please help me identify these carburetors
« on: September 20, 2010, 09:46:59 AM »
I bought these carbs at a swap meet not knowing what they fit.  They were dirt cheap and I figured it was worth trying them on my scrambler.  Well, they won't fit my cl350 frame without separating them, which is probably more work than just using the original style carbs.  So I'm going to try and sell them (dirt cheap) but I don't know what to list them as.
They look like CB360 carbs, but don't have the same mounting plate holding them together.
They are Mikuni carbs and there are two numbers on the right side of the bodies: 11420 and D091, which sounds like a setting mark.  Here are the pics:

Thanks for any advice, and btw pm me if you're interested, I'd let them go for the cost of shipping to anyone on the forum.

Thanks guys, I think I found it out.  Basically I punched into ebay every small 70s twin I could think of and they look an awful lot like a gs400 or gs450 carb.  The xs400 carbs are a pretty close too, but the inlet side looks different, there are more holes.
I downloaded the manual for the suzukis but there is no setting mark for the carbs that look like the numbers I found.  I'll keep looking, and maybe list them as GS carbs, someone might be able to use them.
