New Bike in stable
« on: September 20, 2010, 06:49:54 PM »
Hey everyone I know this may be bad karma here but had to tell someone. I just won a 79 CB750F SS on ebay. It looks to be almost museum condition. The only problem is its almost 600miles away so I'll be headed to MI  early SUN morning. I'll post some pics when I get it home.

Congrats! ;D

Not bad karma to own a non-sohc4 bike, many of us do.  That's why we have an "Other Bikes" section of the forums. ;) :)

Any new bike in the garage is a Good Thing.

And DOHC is only one letter away from SOHC, so don't be a stranger  ;D

Its in a town called Eaton Rapids. The cool thing is I'll have this to ride while I really get into what I want to do with my 74 through the winter here. Around here it doesn't get to cold out till around late Nov. and then if you dress for it, not a big deal.

Hey it beats my 1050 mile ride each way for my '75 CB 750 I picked up in IOWA last June! Virginia to Des Moine Iowa and back in two days. $600 in fuel as well, my vintage '97 F-250HD 4WD is'nt exactly a gas sipper!

Just got back about 2am this morning with the new bike. It needs a good cleaning and some plugs. It was beautiful weather all the way till I got back into TN then it just poured on me all the way home. I hated to see the bike get wet as its been garage kept most of its life.
