Anyone going to Estoril?
« on: October 05, 2010, 01:40:49 PM »
 ???
Hi
I've been a member for some time but haven't posted a great deal. I've just finished my CB750 F1 from 1976 and intend to use to go to Estoril for the MotoGp.  Is anyone else going and if so do they know of any cheap hotels or campsite in the area?
Cheers

Hey Chips...... sorry can't help you, but is that Estoril Spain or Estoril Portugal ?... sidenote; I bet your F1 will work better and better the more miles you put on it,, these old SOHC's love miles, more miles = more smooth IMO.. good luck, have a safe trip, proposed milage ?...
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

Well I rode the bike to the MOT center yesterday, I must say for the 1st time. The air box will have to be replaced as she dies when you open the throttle over 5000 revs. Great fun to ride it though.
The mileage must be over 3k.

OK
the bike passed it's MOT today, so I'm going to Stafford for the Classic Bike Show on Sat and Sunday.
It's going well now I've put the air box back on and sorted the brakes.
If anyone's at the Stafford show let me know so we introduce ourselves.
Finding the 1970's rear sets more than a little uncomfortable but I'll get used to them. (Reed Titan)
