Hagon type A shocks vs Progressive 12 series
« on: October 12, 2010, 12:05:04 pm »
there is lots of information on here about the progressive shocks, or some information anyway, but none on the Hagon type A shocks. i'm looking at buying new shocks for my K5 and would like to hear from anyone who has used the Hagon type A shocks. they are $194 here http://www.davequinnmotorcycles.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/HAGON_TWIN_SHOCKS.html vs $220 or so for the progressives from dynoman.

I had Hagons on a previous Honda (1989 Honda 350SG) and wish I had bought them again for the 750 but I didnt - I bought Progressives (HD spring) from Z1 Enterprises as they were cheaper (good service byw). I prefer the Hagons as for me they have better dampening and I prefer the build quality. But thats just my opinion.

good luck with your choice
