Find it kind of odd that when I first start my 78 750k it idles pretty high, probably in the 1700-2000 range for about 15-20 seconds then drops down to where I have it adjusted. It'll do this weather I use the choke or not. What makes it idle like that on a cold start if I'm not using the choke? Once it's warmed up I can shut it down and restart without it racing.
