« on: March 10, 2006, 06:23:23 PM »
65 and windy today. Bikes seemed to sprout like flies. Pulled up behind a 75-76 GL1000 and the plate was "OLDWNG"

Mine of course. British one is RAD 57 ( was born in 1957) on my 'onda
Best information plate I ever saw though was on a 250 Royal Enfield 'DO NOT REMOVE THIS COVER' was put there by designer knowing people would, to see what was behind it, clean out all the sludge and find they had just done exactly what was needed (clean oil filter sludge trap) bit of reverse psychology

My old plate on my HD Rigid was "BADBACK"
I think the new plate for the CB will be "JUNK"

On a GSXR1100 years ago (we only have rear plates, by the way) "SEEYA"  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

A local here in Santa Cruz has " XVW DVW"  ... but he purposely rides with his plate upside down so it say.."MAD MAX"  well the V's are meant to be A's.
pretty creative. Its on a vintage racing sidecar motorcycle thing. You know where the passenger hangs off the side for corners. What are those things called? Ill try to find a pic.

Had 'RC 46' on the VFR800 I used to have. I'm toying with putting 'RC 03' on Sophie.

It's not the number on the plate but the type of plate. Mine is a "Historic" license plate.

Hereabouts you can apply for what is known as a 'Collector' plate if your motorcycle or car is old enough. It looks different than a standard plate, but the numbers are still designated by ICBC. With the plate you get very favourable insurance rates, but you have to have another vehicle licenced too.

Yessir. Sky is short for Skylar. I get Sky half the time, Skylar the other half.

"Huero" is common spanish slang for Whiteboy.

Duh Argentine born and bred.

Live like 7 miles from mexico.
