I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with Z1's replacement seat covers. I bought this one
http://z1parts.net/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=34&products_id=263 , put it away, got the pan and foam ready, took out to a pro to put it on and it's an inch too short according to the installer. Maybe I'm missing something here so I sent them an email as per their website on Tuesday and a bump today and still haven't heard back from them. I don't think it was smart ass email, here it is:
Hi!
Last May 20'th I bought a Honda CB750 K0 Sandcast seat cover, item number 160434535108, and carefully put it away to be used when the seat pan was ready for it. Well, I recently took it to a professional upholsterer specializing in motorcycle seats because I wanted to be as good looking as the rest of my K0 is going to be and he has found in comparing your seat cover to the original I removed from the seat :
"Hi Cliff, your new replacement seat cover is too small to your Honda seat. It is a full inch short. It appears that the last pleat line (at the rear of the cover) should be at least an inch towards the front. That would put that pleat line in position to be down in the "bite" where it should be. The extra inch in length should be at the rear, between the last pleat line and the rear piping."
In short, it doesn't fit the seat pan and original foam. Your note that was included with the cover says to contact you if I have any questions. My question is do you have any covers that will fit the K0 seat better? Can you do anything for me?

Maybe I'm just impatient.
