Parallel jaw pliers for removing carb idle jets
« on: October 28, 2010, 04:19:02 AM »
These type of pliers have been suggested here by others as a good way to remove idle jets without marring them too badly. Particularly on the PD type carbs in the 77/78 750s (some others are screwed in, the PD are pressed in).

I have not found parallel jaw pliers easy to find so haven't bought any yet. I got my jets out the old fashioned way.

I saw these as available on Amazon so thought I'd post the info in case you are interested.

Looks like a very good tool design.
