mate, lemme tell you the weather in florida is miserable compared to the last week here in Britain, and Wales was no exception! abso-#$%*ing-lutely gorgeous and not a hint of the famous rain (or fog) i keep hearing about.

i'm beginning to think it's all a grand conspiracy to keep us all off an otherwise perfect heaven of a country!  ;D

lots of bikes on the road - mostly modern Hondas as a matter of fact, but in London, and in some of the larger Welsh towns, we did see a couple of 70's bikes as well.

homesick??? i don't doubt it! all the best,
cbj...

CBJ, Thanks for making me feel so much better about living here :( :( :( :( Its been in the low 90's, too hot!

G'Day CBJ, I'm glad you're enjoying your holiday in Pommy Land, it really is a beautiful place mate, I spent 3 months there back in the 1970's when my rich old great-aunt died and left my Dad a brazillion bucks, my folks have been back several times, as have most of my fam, ironically my little sis was in London when Prince Charles married Diana, and she was there again working for an American company when Diana was killed, so she saw the wedding, and sadly the funeral too. Great place though, but waaaay too cold to logically consider habitation, ha ha! Have a good one mate, Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
