I've put about 600 miles on the 550 since you guys helped cure my elec problems. 'Sure is nice to get out and go without wondering when she's gonna "quit on the road"! Now, she never misses a beat! ('77 550F - 13.000 miles)
I just wanted to thank each of you again for changing the bike from a usless paperweight to an enjoyable machine. You may recall a pretty good mechanic couldn't solve it. You good folks solved the problem/s in short order -THANK YOU!
It is amazing how much difference cleaning fuse clips and main terminals can make. That, plus a "Popwood Ground" solved all the troubles.
