16" rims

Can I put a 140/90/16 on a 16x3 rim? How about a 150?

That 140 should be OK. FJ1200, Ninja 1000's used a 3.5 for a 150.

Thanks. All the charts and graphs tell me the same, but I have learned (the hard way) to check the info and then get the straight dope from an experienced source (from either an expert or what I call a Bumpy Roads Scholar).
