I am a lot of things a liar is not one of them, I use my REAL name, my e-mail and home address are in my profile, if I say somthing about some one I will say it to them.
You told the classic car find myth. I have heard the EXACT same story at least 20 times.
1- Old Lady.........what do they know about cars, right?
2- Car is either behind the house or covered in the garage, that way it explains why the neighbors have never seen the "prize" for decades.
3-Either her husband or son purchased the car and is now deceased.
4-The Old Lady has no idea of the value.
5- The myth ends with someone else managing to get the car, or you tell the old lady it's true value.
Problem, the car is NEVER subsequently cataloged, no publication etc. of this incredibly rare find is ever discovered. It is ALWAYS the storytellers dream car, even down to the paintcode. I have heard that story way too many times. You told the myth word for word, too much of a coincidence. I won't even ask for pictures.
I also "collect" cars, and people know what they have, even old ladies, believe me.
