Greetings from Puslinch...
« on: December 03, 2010, 02:16:35 PM »
Hello...

Joined the forum this past summer and have lurked around long enough...

My name is Scott Martin and I reside in a little place called Puslinch, Ontario Canada.  I have been a fan of the SOHC Honda's since picking up my first CB750K7 some 29 years ago.  I am a racing member of the VRRA up here in Canada, and flog around a CR750 replica in P2-Heavy, and a '78 CB550K in P3-Light.

My current projects are to "CR up" the 550 to be raced by my eldest son, and a new build of a RCB1000 replica based around a 900F engine, which I plan to run in the  VRRA endurance series this coming season.

Thank you,
Scott.

Welcome from NY. I hope you contribute some of what you have learned over the years with the rest of the membership.

Hey welcome martin426

Be sure & check out whats happening in the Canada, Ontario forum.  You're surrounded by fellow members & there seems to be a plan forming up to get together next summer at the vintage races at Mosport.  Should be a  great time & a bunch of wicked SOHC4s too!

Hi & welcome Scott,

I'm not sure how I missed your introduction, TG just brought this to my attention. I have stopped by your pit to chat and plan to be ready with a CB550 in P2 middleweight this season so will undoubtedly see you again.

Thanks guys

TG...  I have been following both the racing and build threads.  So many people with such depth of knowledge!
I have been dealing quite a bit over the last year with Mark/KOS who has been simply an open book.  Have ordered some high quality stuff from him, including a complete new 762cc race engine that I'm just itching
to fire up shortly.  This winter thing is dragging on way too long.....

Bwaller... Sweet build! Looking forward to more pit meetings...and to be honest, put a face to "Bwaller"  Mind you your bike will now make this task easier!  Are you planning to participate in any test/track days
prior to Quinte TT?

Cheers!
Scott
