G'day how's it going
« on: December 07, 2010, 01:26:48 AM »
G'day there my names Scott
Sydney Australia is home and I have been checking out this forum for the last week or so and love it. I'm 41 and have just scored my first 4 cyl Honda.  My first bike when I was 16 was a XL185S then about 4 or 5 other Honda's over the following few years.  Big gap with no bike and a few years ago decided it was long over due that I got a bike again.  But now one of the coolest bikes I've owned came my way in the form of a 71 CB750 (810cc not sure) in a Rickman frame.  I was talking to an old dude down a Phillip Island Super Bikes last year while checking out his Rickman. I thought if one is available one day I'll have to check it out. And now it's in my garage so I'm pretty bloody happy.
Any way no doubt I will hassle somr of you guys over the next little while with a few questions, hope you don't mind
Have a good one
Scott

I've taken pictures and will probably need my kids help to get them onto the computer. The bike was partially dismantled by the dude I got it off so not much to look at yet.  Hopefully get it running in the next little while and work out what I need to do to it.  Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome guys
I've just been sitting in the garage staring at the bike with a beer in hand and a smile on my dial. I've ordered carby kits and trying to track down brake kits.  Is it hard to put photos up on the web site? cause I will do it'  but it may take a bit of coaching.

G'day mate thanks for the welcome
I haven't met anyone else from Australia yet on the forum but it's only a matter of time.  I nearly made it down your way one time about 15 years ago. Driving down from Canada stayed at Seatle for a few days and I wanted to go South got out voted and went East.

Scott
When you post, click on the "Additional Options" button on the lower left. Then click the "Browse" button to the right of "Attach", find the pic, where ever you put it (I always save pics I'm going to post to my desk-top, so they are easy to find), and open it. It should have the file-name of the pic showing in the bar between "Attach" and "Browse". Then hit the "Post" button. If you have more than one pic, click (more attachments), and it will open another Attach/Browse line. Rules are that the pic can be no greater than 256K in size, and only 5 pics per post.
