seat latch on cb750 k2
« on: December 21, 2010, 11:20:58 AM »
putting a basket case cb750k2 together. the seat is complete with latch intact but there doesn't appear to be any kind of receiver on the frame to accept the latch and my manuals don't show anything pertaining to this, so what does the latch fit into?

PO must have knocked the hinge receivers off the frame, look up the frame to see what they look like, you are gonna have to weld some metal pieces back on there to receive the pin and line up with the seat hinges.

I'll have to do this too when I decide to put a seat on that uses the hinges.

Might want to double-check which side the bracket is on. My K5 has it on the left, but seems like I remember earlier ones had it on the right. I could be wrong.
