I have offered to take over the coordinator position for bikerbart. I'll post more when I figure out what I'm doing.

Congratulations. Let me know if I can help out.

Anybody wanna speculate on dates for western OR/WA? South Sound is my ol stompin ground, and I matriculated from the Skagit Valley. I'd love to join in if I can make it happen.

If Godzilla is here and IoV is on....it would be an epic riding weekend.  8)   Stars need to be in alignment for that one i'm afraid.  ::) This would all be dependant on what all those riders before us do (time wise) in the next 3 months, and what all the riders after the PNW want/need to fit in thier schedules.   AND, not to mention, when someone from the VME finally leaks the dates of IoVTT-2011 :P

So....anyone else want to go with me to MT to get IT? I'm heading from Portland up the east side of WA thru Walla Walla to Bonner's Ferry, across the top of ID and MT, grab IT and then down thru MT into Jellystone, maybe stop in on Yogi and BooBoo, then back to PDX thru lower ID. So far, it looks like I'll might meet up with a (at this point undetermined) Canadian rider to get Godzilla, maybe meet 1 or 2 MT riders running thru MT and of course, Ofreen thru ID on the way back to PDX...

I will meet up with you for a leg of the southern Idaho trip too!
I live in Idaho Falls which is on your route.  I can't decide if I should drive up to West Yellowstone and meet you or meet you in Idaho Falls and follow you to Twin Falls or something.  I'm leaning towards the West Yellowstone side because that is much more scenic than the desert to Twin Falls.

Do you or Ofreen have any suggestions? I am very flexible about this.  Thanks!

Still planning at this point, and keeping my fingers crossed that things will work out right, but so far it looks like there's a rider in Billings and one in Bozeman that want to meet Godzilla, planning on dropping into Yellowstone somewhere around Lewiston, but I was thinking maybe going down to the Jackson/Wilson area then coming out near Idaho Falls..all currently just speculation....

If you stay on I-90 until Columbus in MT, you can take the Beartooth highway into Yellowstone.  It's easily one of the best motorcycle roads in the west.  And if you did that, I could meet you around Red Lodge, MT.  I'll be in Greybull, WY all summer.

WA DOT finally got the word the SOHC4 Relay had started, and they are frantically clearing Hwy 20 for Godzilla!

Just signed up to the board this week.  I live here in Polson MT and would love to cover some of the Montana portion of the ride.  I've got proper papers and could cross into Canada and/or meet someone at the border.  My dates/times can be flexible as well.  I'm thinking of going to defcon in early August as well, so if the scheduling works out I could possibly cover from the Candadian border as far south as Las Vegas.  I couldn't see any hard schedule as it's not quite here yet, but I'll keep my eyes open for it.

I'd be up for meeting you in say Libby.  If anyone else is interested in meeting here, the ride up from Missoula on 93 to Ravalli (HWY 200) and then up through Thompson Falls to Bull river road (HWY 56) to the junction of HWY 2 and then a bit east to Libby is a wonderful ride.  The load of moisture we've had this year and the hard freezing has made the roads almost perilous, but awesome all the same.  From Libby everything is pretty much awesome.  I would recommend the ride south from the border stay on the west side of the rockies, possibly through the Seeley/Swan valley back down to HWY 200 and then either west to Missoula or East to Lincoln and then down through Helena or Butte to Bozeman and Yellowstone area.  Really a fantastic ride no matter where you go.  The ride on the east side of the rockies down through Browning, Bynum, Choteau and the like on HWY 287 is quite awesome as well, but the road is much worse and the wind there has the power to drive the most even keeled person totally madd.  Anyhow, just some thoughts on some possibilities.

Just signed up to the board this week.

Good to have you on board.  You are right, it is hard to go wrong riding any of the Montana roads.

Industrial Rat.........and other Pacific Northwest Relay Riders..........As Zilla moves through the Upper Mid-West it looks like the Alberta Riders should be able to coordinate a handoff to your group in late August.  Check the North team pages and talk to the Canadian group for more precise dates as we move Zilla from Wisconsin to Minnesota to Iowa to Nebraska to S and N Dakota; then to Saskatchewan and Alberta. We will begin our trek on July 30th.

I was just in Greybull and Cody for a few days. Road my K3 from Cody to Cooke City and back ........nice day!  Also did some riding in the Wind River area and near Pocatello, Idaho.

If your schedule permits, you may catch the BUB speed trials on August 27 to Sept 1, or stop at the Bonneville GP event in Tooele on Sept 3-4........I'll be at both places sans my K3

Howdy PNW.  Just checking in as a noob.  I'll keep an eye open for the next ride.  My stomping grounds are from Kitsap to Belleview.  I'm a CB500 guy.  Got parts and looking for parts as well.

Well, sucks for me, my circumstances have changed, and it seems unlikely I'll be able to take the several day trip I'd planned. I'm holding out hope that I'll be able to do an overnighter, maybe Boise or something to meet G comin in, or up to Seattle, but might have to settle for a handshake as he passes thru town.   :'(
