Breeze, that's a killer (as in fantastic) ride across the mountain range. The guys would be nuts not to ride along!

Who's ridin' with Breeze to meet Ofreen?

I gotta ask finally - Mr Breeze of Lynyrd Skynyrd fame?

Of course it shows up the week we are installing carpet in my hotel... boss is gonna hang me for "getting deathly ill with the 24 hr. flu" oh well! it'll be worth it in the end!

maybe we could meet at the Boardwalk.... or the pier.... or ?

Domer, Sounds good. I think we oughta meet up and fly the banner at the pier or the boardwalk.
I can only do the haul to NV if it's a bit later in the week. SF-SC-SF-NV is a bit much, especially since I need to be in Fernley again by the 6th.

This is the preliminary list of riders for that leg I came up w/ a few months ago - Fatmatt, Grumpy, Geminimotors, Mr.Breeze, Scondon, Stueve.
Looks like Gemini is out.
Grumpy? What's your plan?
Any word from Scondon and Stueve?
I'm thinking I'll ride as far as South Lake Tahoe, camp out for the night somewhere and ride back the next day.
So much to do, so little time.

Not out, I'll just need to peel off somewhere east of the bay- maybe when Mrbreeze joins up.

Sean is gonna be down south for an event and ride back up north with the south guys. I haven't heard what he will do after that. So you're up for Tahoe Matt? Then you can bring the lizard to me in Farmington or Modesto and we could run him over the Sierras or we could wait till Gemini needs to go to Fernley and ride with him?? Lemme know.....time is gettin' tite!!!

I just got word from my boss that escrow on our new building is closing next Wednesday and our whole office is moving Thursday and Friday.  Talk about terrible timing!  I'm 50% sure I can still pull this off, but not if it's Tuesday Wednesday as I NEED to be in the office packing.  We're not yet sure what our responsibilities will be Thursday Friday, but I'll keep you guys posted.  I'm an independent contractor, so literally ANY other time would have been OK to take off, but this is something I can't miss, or my job would no longer be mine....

No Tahoe for me.
I can't do an overnight. Work has me by the shorthairs.
I'm gonna have to pull a sick day for the bay area stage as it is.

Plus we're in-contract on a house as of yesterday. I gotta stay close to home

Back from a European trip, and putting the engine in bike for final time tomorrow. Once it's confirmed that all the oil is going where it should, and not going where it shouldn't my plans are as follows:

1) Make it to Willow Springs/APE for the complimentary lap and meet-up with AZ contingent. My attendance at the Easter weekend AHRMA event is hinging on how fast I can get the bike to a state that I have 1000 miles of confidence in it.

2) Ride with AZ rider(s) to San Luis Obispo. Ride with FatMatt/CA contingent back to the Bay Area to spend the night in my own bed.

3) Hook up with Mr. Breeze for the most awesome twisties in the U.S. (once we get out of the godawful Central Valley).

As stated at the top my plans hinge on the bike. Engine runs great, but first attempt had blocked oil jet followed by seeping from head gasket. I should know for certain by Thursday-Friday whether I'm making it to LA. Once I know my availability for ride legs I'll start collecting phone numbers of those I need to meet up with.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Sister!?!?  Blame ur brother-in-law!! He couldn't have waited a month??
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Guys, I'm totally bummed.  I've been looking forward to participating for months.  I was going to see my sister at Cal Poly SLO, one of my best friends also lives up there, but my office moving has put the kibosh on any plans to leave and I look like an A-hole... :-[

Good luck to all the riders, and I KNOW I can join next year.  Ride on!
