5/22ish. I don't think a firm date can be set until IT gets a little closer, but the 22nd sounds good to me.

OK, I'll post it! Keep in mind that Mid-Atlantic and all regions downstream will start to plan off these dates. Same is true of the Team Central and Team West dates of course.

Not a real biggie if locations change, that's up to y'all. But if dates need to change, yell loud and clear!!

I called them today but the lady I needed to talk to at AMA was already gone for the weekend .. At two in the afternoon, I want her job lol. I will get in touch with her Monday. I am going to tell her we will be there the 19th considerIng that is the most concrete date we have and have heard no objections. Once we have it scheduled I would think we can slide the date by a day either direction. From the looks of things may have to ride the crotch rocket .. 750 is giving me electrical fits

Will update with firm reservations once I talk to the lady on Monday.

Edit: not that I mind the distance but cinci to Toledo via Columbus to go to pa seems like a very odd route to take with a lot of back and forth?

Thanks for carrying on guys. I've been doing 12 hour days again in the shop trying to get the race car on track (literally) my link got fubar'd and I thought we were off line. The car went 7.57 at 177 mph in the quarter mile with no scoop and the old aluminum body. The new glass/carbon body is still in paint. Now one more week of hitting it hard and I'll have more time for my Honda.

Hey my schedule has changed and I can most likely make the ride but my CB650 won't be ready. Any objections to my riding my 75 CB 360T? Why the 3 days between Indy and Cincinnati? Where would I meet up with the group in Cincy to make the run to Toledo?

I don't think mine will be worthy of a ride that long before the ride. TBH I am likely going to pack up the camera equipment and have a buddy of mine drive. We will chase the bikes and take pictures along the way. The latest round of WTF with the bike has pretty much set this in stone.

I have had my bike out a few times this year looking for great roads from Cincy to Columbus or the Dayton area... And to be frank, there are good roads but most are so straight and level that without stopping and looking at all the little towns most seem pretty boring. I hope someone has better luck picking a better route than I have had.

Hey Team Central,

Are any of you guys planning on riding with Don R and his brother into Topeka, KS for our meeting with Motorcycle Classics magazine? We'll pull in from western Kansas Monday PM 5/9 and head to the magazine offices Tuesday. Looks like we'll have at least 6 guys already. A big crowd would be good. I'm now working on the overnight scenario and would like to know a head count. I believe Don and his brother will have a chase vehicle also if that would help you make the decision. I'm thinking there will be maybe 5 guys riding west into Topeka that you could join up with.

Please shoot me a PM if you're interested so we can include you in the planning for accomodations. JamesB says he has a warehouse with heat and electrical some guys could crash in. There should be motel facilities that those riders could use to freshen up that some us will have.

Routes from Cincinnati? If we pick up riders in the Dayton area, I'd suggest meeting up east of Dayton a bit, say Springfield. To get there, we could go up through Lebanon to Xenia and Yellow Springs. It's about the best scenic bet. From Springfield though, not much choice except flat/straight, to Columbus. Hate to say it, but might be best just to make good time on I-70 to get to AMA.

Now if we went Cincy to Columbus, we could take Rt, 50 to Chillicothe (a nice route) and on to Columbus from there. Isn't the Columbus north route up in the air? Heading toward Toledo? Or more due north going to Mid-Ohio? Anybody contact Mid-Ohio for some laps around the track?
