As of Thursday morning, it's saying 40% scattered thunderstorms by 9am Friday in both Nashville and Birmingham.. looks like we'll be leaving super early tomorrow. Ray - I'll look into the hotel situation.

The couple of hotels an exit or two down from Barber look pretty crappy, so I got us a room at the Doubletree downtown by the college. Covered parking!

FYI - the Nashville team is unfortunately heading home on Saturday and not continuing on to Jackson. I assume others in the group are heading that way? Just a heads-up.

Cody,

The rain chance is 40% @ 9:00, 50% after until 1 or 2, then 70%.  Sat AM is clear & high 50's.  If you all want to do the Highway 25 ride Sat AM, we'll do it.  Looks like you and me heading west.  We should all be at the museum after 1:00 or so Fri afternoon.

Man, I hope you guys miss the bad stuff. Looks like two waves of storms in your path. The first wave looks like some heavy rain at times but you can probably wait those out. I just hope you make Barbers before the second wave because you might be waiting a while if your going to wait for the second wave to pass (much more widespread heavy storms). Ride safe, and we'll be thinking about you guys today.

Just took a look at weather radar.  WOW!  Sure hope y'all got past this stuff!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Good morning Yo.  I talked to JTB (John) last night and we thought we were the only two meeting up this morning before heading for Jackson.  The storm knocked a lot of guys out of making the Birmingham trek.

John is taking the guys from Tennessee out to Barbers this morning because they left their bikes there rather than riding through the storm to their rooms last night.  Anyway, we are meeting at 8:30 AM at the

IHOP on Lakeshore in Birmingham
221 State Farm Parkway
Homewood, Alabama 35209-7170

I hope you can make it there for some breakfast!
