Timing troubles?

 When cold the bike starts up and runs fine,idles at about 1400 rpm. It hesitates a little at wot but pulls up to 9000rpm pretty good. After a 20 min ride, the idle gets rough, it stalls at stoplights and is difficult to get started again. Is this ignition or carb? Also, what are the two sets of timing lines for?

Seems to me you have set your idle on a cold engine, idling must always be set on a warm engine. When the engine is cold, idling usually/often needs full choke as well as blipping of the throttle.

The marks are T (top) and F (fire) marks for timing

What do the plugs look like?
