Hey Hushy, I think you haven't ridden that "Fizzer" if you reckon it's a good learners bike, a good one will pisss all over your 650 mate! Steve K0 has a CBR250RR (The fizzer's nemesis) and @ 18,000 RPM in top gear it'll do well over 160 KPH!  ;)
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well it aint got the grunt of the other little pocket rocket we fixed up, that Honda CBR400RR was like ligthening on crack...ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiippppppppp. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Well that's true mate, but the 400 is almost twice the capacity of the 250, so not unexpected? For instance, my Triumph Rocket III has enormous torque compared to my CB750's, but when you consider that there's a CB750 engine hiding in each of the Triumph's 3 cylinders, it's not surprising? Cheers, Terry. ;D
