I got the same ones, no rides yet , will post pics later. I do know the bike feels alot heavier moving it around than the clubmans did. They are super adjustable, I want the bars behind the tree but clearance with that fat K8 tank is an issue. They do feel good though!

Ouch, I'm certainly no photog today, fighting the flu. I will take better pics of the different positions. I think I am going to like these, been using clubmans for a while.

It is very nice that they are infinitely adjustable, it more or less guarantees that you will find a comfortable position for them. Basically put them on loose, grab them and move them around to where you like, then lock them down. I had mine mounted down between the trees and liked it well enough, but because most of my rides are right at 100 miles, and I've been swinging from the trees for many a moon, I thought better of the position and opted for a more upright seating position that demanded I move the bars up. That was OK with me because I have the legs of a Chimpanzee so lowering the front an inch (along with my inch shorter shocks in the rear) looks like it will work out fine for me.

My front end is down 3/4" of an inch and I can feel it. The bike flicks over a lot faster. The whole thing feels smaller.

My Tarozzi's arrived yesterday.

The Clipons do look great, I think they are going to work out well.

Also, in case anyone is interested...I test fit the rear sets and they fit like factory parts!

They have a cast clamping set for each side that wraps around the frame where two tubes come together at an angle.
Very solid construction, and mechanically they look very sound. Good design.

Can't wait to get this girl all back together and try these out.

What would make these (rear sets) not work for a 78K?

I'm not seeing anything rear-set wise on that site for 78s? I thought they are basically the same? Who's got 78K rear-sets?

Kong- clearance question.
I have a 75 cb750K and am interested in the low rise Tarozzi clip on too. I wished to keep the possibility of attaching above the upper tree. My question: In your top photo, your running the factory master brake cylinder and in the second photo, a later model cylinder. Did you find there to be clearance issues between the master cylinder banjo bolt and your gauges?

Or anyone else with clearance issues?

That is a mighty good question and you have a very good eye. To the first photo with the stock master cylinder on it. I was going to have to do some modification to the gauge mounting to use the stock master cylinder. It was in fact the banjo that would hit the gauge but a different angle on the banjo would not have solved the problem - it just plain and simple hit, right at the banjo-part of the banjo. The second problem was that the snout of the master cylinder - for lack of a better or more descriptive term - also hit the upper stanchion of the Clip-on and it was my intention to take the Die Grinder and remove a little bit of metal, first on the master cylinder, and then if necessary on the clip on itself.

The second Master Cylinder is a Nissin unit that I was lucky enough to get from a member here. It is a 5/8" unit with adjustable handel and brake light swtich, which I wanted touse with the conversation to dual disk and I just had extradordinary luck in that its outlet is on its forward side, not the front of the cylinder. So it doesn't interfere with anything at all. It also clears the stanchion of the Clip-on with room to spare.

Another question- Would the factory m/c banjo bolt clear the gauge if the clipon was mounted below the upper tree? If so the brake line would somehow route under the gauge? I can see that just getting the nissin or similar m/c would solve this problem. I guess I put the apple cart before the horse and invested in a GL 1000 m/c and rebuild kits before getting a clipon. Now I'm borrowing from your mock up, hopefully to not waste more cash.

I can tell you this, it wasn't such a problem that I had to get a different master cylinder to fix it. It was more luck than anything that the master I got has the well placed banjo, but that isn't why I bought it. I bought it for the bore diameter. I was prepared to either modify the master cylinder with a little grinding for clearance and as far as the gauges go I planned to cut the mount in the center, remove a small section out and and then weld it back together and grind it smooth. I'd then slot one of the gage mount holes on each side to level them back up but the effect would be to move the gauges out of the way of the master cylinder by moving them slightly closer together. I saw this too as a pretty simple fix, I just hadn't got around to doing it yet when the chance to buy the other master cylinder popped up.

Hey never thought about bringing the gauges closer together. A new m/c like yours sounds easier though. Thanks again for the ideas.

Keep in mind the stock masters, should be able to shorten snout arounf 5/8 of an inch..

Sorry I have no imagination I guess and I cant picture what you mean. You saying cut off 5/8 of material where the banjo secures the brake line into the m/c? Thanks in advance for clearing that up.
