It is very nice that they are infinitely adjustable, it more or less guarantees that you will find a comfortable position for them. Basically put them on loose, grab them and move them around to where you like, then lock them down. I had mine mounted down between the trees and liked it well enough, but because most of my rides are right at 100 miles, and I've been swinging from the trees for many a moon, I thought better of the position and opted for a more upright seating position that demanded I move the bars up. That was OK with me because I have the legs of a Chimpanzee so lowering the front an inch (along with my inch shorter shocks in the rear) looks like it will work out fine for me.
