Yes. my phone said it was 37. so I guess it doesnt show windchill. I regretted it immediately after getting on the highway.

I dont know. It freezes a few times a year here. but it always melts by noon. The last time we had considerable snow was about 4 inches and that must have been over ten years ago.

The trade off is incredibly hot summers I guess. but that doesnt really stop you from riding unless its in traffic.

Somebody told me they saw a guy riding the other day here in Minneapolis. I wouldn't though, if not for the cold, but the snow and ice.

But we do have our own breed of hard-core cyclists here who brave the elements year round. Everyday. Right now feels like -10 F with windchill.

Dallas was a thick sheet of ice today.  Not much in the way of snow.  It blew away.  Supposed to hit -3 windchill tonight.  Cold down here and cold up in like Colorado are two different beasts.  I stand outside in shorts at 10 degrees in Colorado (done it often there), wouldn't dream of it here.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

We had -10 about 10 days ago here in the city coldest so far.  It was -46 in the far north of the state that same day.  Coldest I can recall experiencing was -35.

Supposed to be rolling blackouts areound here today.  I heard it was only supposed to be in 15 minutes increments.  I wish, it has been over 6 hours so far.

I was in estes park this past weekend snowboarding at eldora.. Got up monday to drive home and was like "Ohh sh1t!!!". From estes park to the eastern outskirts of denver was like 3-4 hours. On the flip side the drive from estes to boulder was a scary blast.

While kansas city got hit pretty hard I am glad im not in chicago..

Wow I think that is the coldest i have seen it get since moving here in 91.

Paul

It was -15 here in Lakewood this morning.

We saw 11 days below zero during Christmas 1985, lowest then was -22 at 3 AM one of those days.  :o

It's 4 F here right now. At least the wind has stopped. Heard on the news this AM, when the temp was about 15, that the chill factor was -7. Not complaining, as I know a lot of you are having much more severe weather, but damn, it's cold! :o
