This says BREMBO BRAKE KIT (CB400F)
« on: February 01, 2011, 10:01:41 PM »
I read Japanese--went to high school there--but it takes me a while to get through #$%* because I am out of practice. Just decided to tuck into MC Again to see if there was anything there that I had to have. Well god damnit, there its. 6th from the bottom, accompanied by the picture below, is a Brembo Brake Kit for the CB400F. It's a single, drilled disc, and it's about a grand, based on today's exchange rate.

Here's the link

costs more than my cb400 was to buy! but very cool. i suppose you could make up your own adaptor plate and fit any slim caliper? then just finding a disc that fits the hub...

Nice kit but way out of my range..I bought 3 400 fours for that money :o :o.  Unless you vintage race, it'd be hard to justify.  my .02...Larry

yeah I've wanted to order parts from them for the last 7 years but just could never justify the price. But if you have the money why not. I just went with the 550 front end/dual disk set up and am very happy. I pretty much broke even after selling the 400 front end. Can't beat that price.

That caliper look suspiciously similar to the Brembos on the back end of some Italian sportbikes:

I can't tell if the one on the Japanese site is a 2 piston opposed or not, but if it is you can get one here (and other places) :

They have a bunch of others, as well as some vintage style. There are threads about adapting other rotors, add in a DIY bracket and you might have something.
