....and here's a bit more info on shipping, to Australia at least.
I bought some tyres, 5 in various sizes to be exact from [url]http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com//url] and they went from Utah USA to Melbourne Australia in 3 days.
Yep,
3 days !!!!
I bought a Gordon frame kit from Brendan at Hednut (who happens to be, IMO, one of life's gentlemen and a damn good operator) it took 10 weeks, to the day, to get here via Canada Post.
To expedite the parcel would have cost an additional $85.
I wasn't in hurry for it so it wasn't a problem.
I bought a seat, for my DR650 from a guy in Saskatchewan and that took four months. When it got here there was a can of Canada's excellent brew .... I can't remember the brand but it was almost as good as Aussie beer
I buy stuff from Hong Kong, which is so close I can almost see it ( ..you get what I mean) and the same article can take from 3 days to 3 weeks.
My point is that it's become a crap shoot on how long it's going to take from anywhere to anywhere.
Fact is that I think it's rarely, if ever, the senders fault so communication and patience is the key.
I travel the world quite a bit and I am certain that OBL and his crew are having a real good chuckle as they hide away in some secret cave in the mountainous wastelands of .....stan.
