I am blown away by some of the components of this bike.  Amazing work.  Do you have a link to the headlight that you used?

Insane work.  BOTM? Can't say that the headlight is my style, but I can appreciate the attention to detail.  Is that a fork mounted speedo?

It kinda looks like it might be the tach, but just set on the seat for a photo?

looks like he made it himself on his lathe.  nice work there too!

looks to be one!  i've always wondered how "driveable" those are.  they always seem like they'd be distracting and just a way to have a speedo if you legally needed one w/o much impact on the bikes lines

Sorry, I meant the actual light and lens with the LED setup.  Should have been a little more clear.

What was the idea behind moving the rear shocks?
They look almost vertical now.

the headlight bulb can be found on ebaymotors like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HALOGEN-BLUE-LED-REPLACEMENT-5-3-4-HEADLIGHT-INSERT-/230583972919?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35afe03437#ht_1272wt_1167

however its harley sized 5 3/4' and I machined my own housing from 7" solid aluminum stock

I had to hand bend the oil lines, took 3 tries but got them the way i liked them, used standard fairing tools and plumbing fittings, ordered up the adapters from cycle exchange but had them made in 3/8' NPT size.

yes the tank and seat are full carbon fiber all the way though, from Benjie's cafe racer shop

and as requested here is the video

yep fork mounted speedo, the headlight housing shape was inspired by the old calcium carbide headlamps, I had actually tried finding a old brass one to modify but no luck, so I made my own.

The speedo is mostly for legality... however its actually not to hard to see nothing of me or my bike obstructs it.

What was the idea behind moving the rear shocks?
They look almost vertical now.

When I first started building I felt the bike was to low and soft, Im 6'2 and long legs so I wanted a bit more extension, so I moved them in order to both raise the back end and change the leverage ratio, so its a bit stiffer in the rear end. And the rear also needed to be raised if I wanted the rear frame hoop. also gives it a little more of an old moto-racer look
