Once I get all the bearings in I will post the clearences.  I know that it is not really a big deal, I probably could have gone green across the board for rods (which I did) and mains, but this is the first time I am sizing bearings, and I figured one day I might be working on an engine that is more picky, so this is good practice for me.

these little engines are quite forgiving as far as tolerances required go,ive assembled heaps with used bearings and they run fine,i also do the odd hi perf V8 engines and i cut no corners on these!ever,its a 351 (5.8 litre) windsor,a dirt bike tow wagon.

So for what ever reason I only received half my order of crank bearings and half my order of rod bearings.  The packing slip said some of the rod bearings were back ordered, and the yellow crank bearings were discontinued.

Either way, I pasti-gauged everything with green bearings and had between 0.0015 - 0.002 for all the crank bearings and between 0.001 - 0.0015 for all the rod bearings.

Just called service honda, green rod bearings are on national backorder with no ETA.

My engine re-assembly is not progressing as I had expected.
