I recently bought a 72 cb500 project bike and now I'm working out the bugs and trying to get it running. The bike didn't have any carbs on it but came with 2 sets of carbs.
I thought it would be simple....take 3 sets and make a good set out of them...Wrong
All 3 sets are different.
I have a set of:
KEHIN 627B
KEHIN PD46A
Mikuni...that I didn't see any identifications numbers on.
All the sets are missing pieces. The KEHIN 627B is complete except for one float. I tried taking a flot out of the other KEHIN set but it wouldn't fit.
The other two are mising bowls and maybe other pieces as well.
Whiich would be the best set to go with on a stock CB500?
Where is a good source to find parts for these carbs.
I allready bought a rebuild it for 627B but can't locate the pesky float.
