Topic: New from Philly

Hey all, I recently picked up this '75 cb550 for $100.  They've always been my favorite looking inline 4, so I'm happy to be working on it.  When I start getting into the guts of it, I'm sure you'll hear me squawking for advice.  I'm going to cafe it.

Once I have enough posts I'll also set up a want add for a 18" x 1.85 rim, but that'll have to wait for now.




I'm from just west of Philadelphia.  I've ridden and worked on bikes all my life.  2 years ago I built (with the help of many friends) this xs650 hardtail. Now that Spring is coming up, my fingers are getting itchy so I'm looking forward to diving into the 550.

How far west of Philly?  I am out in Chester County.  If your bike is ready, maybe you could take part in the around the world rally coming through here around June.  Welcome...Larry
