Crankcase compatability question
« on: March 12, 2011, 12:33:07 pm »
Will I be able to swap the innards of a K2 (engine # cb750e-202903) into a crankcase with the engine #cb750e-2360070?  Any help or links would be appreciated.

You might have a single row output shaft bearing in the earlier engine while the later one will be a double row bearing . You will need to use the double row shaft assembly in the later cases . The later case is a K4 . Crank main bearings will need to be fitted for the new case . Everything else should just swap over .
Hope this helps
