I just wanted to add that the Hacksaw is a good way to take these steel sleeves out of your swingarm however I also want to add my two cents.
Make sure there is plenty of tension on that hacksaw blade and be sure to cut in a straight line, some of my cuts were straight but a lot were not (shaking head).
And its best to make your two cuts, it should only take two, about 40 to 50 degrees to give enough so those sleeves just fall out. I made my first two cuts too close together and I was micron away from starting to cut into the swingarm I thought I could just tap it out with a flathead screwdriver and all it did was just break a little piece off. That is pretty much why I had to do more cuts, hence all those little sleeve pieces in the photo.
Also, I thought since the cuts werent exactly falling out I thought I would fit a socket in the pivot shaft and give it a couple of whacks, hoping those cuts would break, but they didnt and I think I ended up doing more damage than good and that is the second picture. I think I may have wedged the metal inside the pivot shaft.
