So after two rounds of ATF and Acetone, we are still stuck (at least using the rocking method, which given the condition of the tires has left a nice black mark on my garage floor from where the rear slides :)  )... at this point, Rachel and I have talked it over and we are just going to start a top-end tear down to see what is going on in there.  Even if we got if freed up at this point, we would still be planning a top end rebuild as badly stuck as it seems to be.   Want to get eyes on those cylinders to see how bad it is and to verify that is even where we are sticking.

First though, she has to finish finals and her AP tests... the problem with doing a project with a busy teenager is that she is well, busy.

Another night not working on the bike, because of... PROM???  She picked prom over tearing into that engine...  She could at least have smeared a little grease on the dress.

Finally!!! after prom, finals, ap exams etc. we have gotten started on the tear down, it has been hard to wait but glad I did.  Today we took off the seat, luggage rack, grab bar, highway pegs, and the exhaust.   Rachel did 90% of the wrenching and seemed VERY pleased with herself.

I am jealous, father/daughter project.  The good thing is I have 8 more years to decide if I want the twins to have a bike and 10 years for the other one.

The eldest has helped me on Momma's bike.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
