Lightweight/Smaller Batteries
« on: April 14, 2011, 06:41:40 AM »
Saw this....
http://www.motydesign.com/8cell_prod.php

Im thinking about using in my K8 sans starter to clean up the triangle area.  I may actually try to fit it in the area the starter previously occupied if the dimensions work out.  Anyone have any previous experience with these?

I think there is a whole thread somewhere (new search - ugh!) where a member got a discount going through a distributor.  Maybe look inn the parts for sale section.

Pretty cool idea - and the original poster has been using it for a while by now, I would think.

I am not keen on the new search function either but if you type in lightweight batteries the relevant threads are there....

You are indeed correct sir.  This is the link to the post I was talking about:

Honestly, I didn't even try the search for this  until your friendly nudge :)

but the fact that you can't search from within a particular forum category, or from within a search results list, has made the feature frustrating at best.....
