Stock-like mirrors?
« on: April 24, 2011, 07:01:23 AM »
Has anyone found mirrors that look similar to stock (or at least something that may have left the factory) but don't stick up like a set of antennae on a bug?

I had to put the last set I bought in a vice and bend them down to get a little sportier look. But, they're aftermarket and still get a little blurry at certain speeds.
I'm NOT looking for bar end mirrors. NOT looking for anything billet with sharp edges or a lightning bolt design on the stem.

I'd prefer something round-ish and with a look simlar to stock, but a little sportier. Something a little more low profile to go with a set of 400F bars.

 Maybe these?:

Or these? (Not sure about theblack color or the shape of the lens):

And check out the mirror on this CB1100F. It looks like a Talbot mirror. Think it's something he modified? This would be really cool, even in black.

The first Ebay listing will most likely be too short-you'll have a good view of your arm ;D.   The other listing looks like it could work.  I believe stock mirrors are still available from Honda and are not all that ourageously expensive...Larry
