Topic: Those w/77-78 750F's... performance tires..

Im building a 78' F... Im looking for performance tires with solid ratings. Im planning on taking this to track days here and there as well as daily riding. I dont mind running 2 sets of wheels. I cant get much out of this Google search function.


So... What tires do you all have good luck with with aggressive brake, throttle, and corners?

I run Bridgestone BT-45's on some of my "loaner" track bikes.  They work fine for trackdays and for racing if you aren't really really fast.  Certainly they would work fine in a dual purpose mode like you are looking for.  I used to use Avon Super Venoms, but they have discontinued those and replaced them with Roadrider AM26's and I haven't had as good of luck with those as a track tire.
